Our Mission
Early awareness and detection can make a huge difference.
His E.D.G.E. is a New Jersey nonprofit created to educate, guide, and empower adolescent boys and their families through health awareness, meaningful conversations, and community-based support.
Through education, outreach, and support initiatives, our hope is to help families feel more informed, supported, and less alone should a health concern arise. This mission is deeply personal and built from a place of compassion and connection.
Educate
We share clear, honest health information so young men and their families know the warning signs and understand what to watch for.
Guide
We help open up the conversations around boys’ health that can be hard to start — with families, coaches, and communities.
Empower
We build the confidence young men need to speak up, ask questions, and advocate for their own care.
Our Focus
Our current focus is testicular cancer awareness.
Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in young men aged 15 to 35 — and when caught early, it is highly treatable. We focus on the awareness and conversations that help families catch it sooner.
Early awareness
Helping young men and families understand the importance of early awareness and detection.
Self-advocacy
Building the confidence young men need to speak up for their own health.
Open communication
Advocating for honest, ongoing conversations around boys’ health.
Why it matters
“No family should have to face a health scare feeling uninformed or alone. Awareness and honest conversation are the simplest, most powerful tools we have.”

Leadership
Kelly Cannizzo
Founder & President
Kelly spent twenty years as an educator before founding His E.D.G.E., bringing with her the values that defined her classroom: communication, compassion, and trusted relationships.
The mission is personal. Shaped by her family's own experience with cancer, her work is grounded in the belief that families deserve to feel informed, supported, and less alone during the hardest health conversations they will ever have.
